Information for Prospective Applicants
Thank you for your interest in graduate studies at UC Santa Barbara. Please note the application can only be completed online here. No paper-based application exists and Graduate Division can not mail prospective applicants program information.
The Graduate Division can inform prospective applicants of the admissions requirements for graduate study but cannot provide admissions advice or counseling. Graduate Division also cannot help with completing the online application. Applicants must complete and submit the online application to the best of one's ability. Any questions regarding errors or broken links on the Graduate Division webpage or within the online application itself should be directed to the Webmaster.
The Graduate Division also cannot pre-screen applicants with unofficial information contained in emails. Only the prospective student can determine eligibility to apply by reading the application guidelines on this website. To learn more about the requirements, please visit these pages:

*All supplemental application materials should be sent directly to the prospective academic department using the department specific mailing address and zip code + 4 digit extension (93106-xxxx), and not to the Graduate Division.
